MXKEY BB5 and DCT4 Trouble,

MXKEY is a powerfull Nokia tool not only for Nokia but also for Blacberry and huwawe unloking. They have released MobileEX Professional Service Suite MXKEY Version 3.5 Rev 1.5. MKKEY has been designed to use the interface of UFS flashing box. Then MXKEY software for nokia called MobileEx could be used to repair DCT based phones and BB5 phones. But in the latest released, when it connected with UFS interface, BB5 and DCT4 could not be seen in the Generation counter in the MobileEX. As it seems this case has happend  in 3.5 rev 1.4 and it has been solved by them later.

The another thing is now they have standalone MX BOX also called HTI BOX witch has an its own interface therefore no need an interface of UFS BOX. MobileEX Professional Service Suite MXKEY Version 3.5 Rev 1.5 is not supported in UFS interface at the moment. But its work fine with MX box. No problem with BB5 or DCT based. 


If you are going to buy MXKEY please reconsider the current situation and don't make decision that would make you regret later. There are nor considerable price different between MXKEY and MX BOX. So MX BOX is recommended rater than MXKEY for those who has to work with DCT4 and BB5.
